hannah's first pro game....

So Saturday was a fun, full day for us.

We went to Charlotte for the Rv/Camper show. We spent a few hours looking at pop-ups and travel trailers. Just browsing.

Then dinner - at Uno Pizzeria. Hannah and her friend Catherine made their own pizzas.....Note the paper aprons....

Then it was off to the game....Bobcats vs. Toronta Raptors. We got to the game after it had started. As we went in, they were giving kids under 14 jerseys. We got the LAST 2!!!! Wooo Hoo - that was exciting!! The girls seemed to really love the game - cheering - hooting - trying to get free shirts and stuff.....Here is a picture - they are wearing their jerseys...

But the Bobcats lost - could not make a free throw for the life of them....We had to go and get a couple of claws.... Still - it was fun! And so you can see the view from the nosebleed section...

kinda quiet around here.... {insert sigh}

{sigh}
Yup, mom and dad are gone. Left for home (got back safe and sound, thanks).
But it is quiet here. Too quiet.
Tiger is looking for them - I thinks he misses their laps.
Chris mentioned that it seems too quiet now.
Hannah said she had gotten used to them being here and misses them.
Me - I always hate the goodbyes. {sigh}

So, I will post a valentines day picture. Hannah and mom made a heart shaped cake. Please note the cake mix all over Hannah's face.....

And my valentines day present from my hubby... a FINISHED mantle!!!!

So I gotta run - time to cook hot dogs for the kidlets at church.

BTW - it is supposed to warm up this week - mid 60's by Wed. Sorry mom and dad.

8:00am...this does not look like a good day....

for mom and dad to fly in. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well.
We are getting snow - turning to freezing rain - turning to rain. The best we can hope for is that the temperature warms up enough to get a good rain and not freeze.
